Nationality: GermanyBorn 1979 in Hamburg, Germany. Studied Illustration at the University of Applied Sciences Hamburg, Diploma in Design 2006 and Master of Arts 2013. He works since 2006 for magazine, scientific and picture book publishers as freelance illustrator, lecturer and 3d animation artist. He developed scientific visualization in cooperation with the Institute of Systematic Zoology and Evolutionary Biology in Jena. His books have been exhibited internationally, were translated into several languages and received many awards.
